The first step is meeting with the client to determine the focus
of the ad campaign, the budget allotted, and whether artwork, photos
or a combination of the two will be used. A decision is made as
to whether the finished product will be a full or partial wrap.
An estimate is computed and a deposit is collected on the work.
The designers then set to work on designing and laying out the design
for the specific vehicle being used. It is important that the designer
is familiar with working on vehicle layouts as the client needs
a clear, eye-catching design that does not lose any vital information
around a wheel well or a curve in the line of the vehicle. Once
the design and layout is complete, it is digitally placed on the
client's vehicle (by computer) so that the client will see exactly
what everything will look like when installation is completed. This
process usually takes 3-5 working days. After the client approves
the design & layout, the printing and lamination of the vinyl
starts. This usually takes a full day. We use a high performance
vinyl specifically designed for easy removal at a later date.
Our inks are a solvent based ink and should last three years without
lamination. The lamination adds another couple of years to the life
of the print. It also adds a beautiful shine to the graphics. The
design is created to flow over all rear and side windows in a perforated
vinyl. This special vinyl appears like a window tint from inside
the vehicle. The vinyl does not harm any factory paint and in fact
protects the paint from the elements. We offer a one-year warranty
on our wraps except where the vehicle has been repainted. Installation
usually requires that the vehicle be available for a full day. With
very large jobs or vehicles, we may require the vehicle for 2 to
2 1/2 days. We are part of a national network of installers, so
the wraps can be installed anywhere in the US. If a client happens
to be in an area that is not included in the network, we will fly
to the location of the vehicle.
